We had fun painting our fish for the Streams of Dreams project after listening to an informative session with the theme "All drains lead to fish habitat." Today was a beautiful day for Bear Creek and it seems like the kids who went had a good day, with many good finishes. We had a fun but also productive day here at school too.

Ongoing: Keep reading at least 15 minutes a day and fill out your booklist form as you go. Your Independent Reading Duotang is due on Wed. Nov. 17. Though your booklist is right now kept in your Travel Folder, you will put it in your duotang when it is full or when the duotang is due.
Soon I will be assigning questions about the independent reading that will refer to fiction, so if you have been reading many non-fiction books, please choose some novels the next few weeks.
**Third Smart Reading: due Thursday, Oct. 21 Put all three Smart Reading forms in your yellow duotang and hand in on Thursday.
