A QUICK NOTE TO PARENTS:
Middle school Hub: http://sites.google.com/site/vcsmiddle will allow you to click on any middle school teacher's blog, including Mr. Lai"s French.

What a great day! We had our first Alpha class, complete with snacks, video clips and some optical illusions. Even more importantly, we had a meaningful introduction to the Alpha program. All students had their homework done (we did a victory lap around the room and have started a friendly competition with 6D), and they also received a compliment from Mrs. DeBoer on how well they worked in socials. They kept up the great effort in science so we stopped early and enjoyed the summer like weather at the preschool playground. Look for all sorts of take home items today: update, invitations, photo day reminder, and school directories went home with different students.
