Theme Week Essays

I've finished marking essays. I just wanted to let you know that I am still missing essays from Mark, Celina, Zoe, and Sierra.

Friday, May 28, 2010

Mrs. Newman May 28

I have heard from some grade 7 students and some teachers and parents who went to the Track and Field meet yesterday about how well the grade 6 team did yesterday. Congratulations, guys!

I have nothing new to add to the homework board for this weekend, other than a heads up that on Monday in math, after taking up homework and having a brief review, students will try a practice quiz on volume to test themselves to see if they understand the material.

We are getting close to finishing the measurement unit, so a test on the whole unit will be coming soon...probably Wednesday or Thursday. Use all your practice quizzes to help you review, as well as the homework packets.

Wednesday, May 26, 2010

Mrs. Newman Wed. May 26

The only two new things for today are:

Math: If you are at Swanguard tomorrow, we will be doing Wed. and Thurs. Daily Math Practice and completing the booklets about cubic and capacity volume. If you are in Math LA, you should catch up on Friday.

Alpha: Complete the Bible study about the Samaritan woman for next Wed. June 2.

Be prepared for your flex block presentation.

Remember the socials test on Friday
