Mrs. Newman Monday

Dear Parents,
We would like to know if any of you would like to come to our free introductory lesson: 4 Steps to Responsibility for the Love and Logic Course we facilitate. There are videos of the professionals teaching; Mary and I just facilitate the evening. I LOVE doing this course with you; it reminds me of all the principles I'm trying to put into practice in my classroom. If any of you have done the course, the evening is a great refresher since this evening actually touches on many of the principles in Love and Logic, so even if you don't want to commit to the whole course, this gives you a very good start. Just as a reminder, the date is Thursday, Oct. 13, next Thursday 7-9. Please let us know. If there are only a few of you who would like to come, perhaps we will just invite you to our normal first night on the 20th. We sent home a letter and form for you through your child last week.

Homework Club: Homework Club will officially begin next week Thursday from 3:30 - 4:30 p.m (and every Thursday after that) by teacher invitation. If we feel your child could benefit from having some time to complete homework or study, we will contact you by email or by a note home. If there are times students are working on in-class group projects, we will open it up to all students. Be sure to check the blog for details.
